CONTENT WARNING: animal death, body horror

Imagine it: acres and acres of untouched, fertile soil, ripe for the using. The only problem is it’s still just in the imagination: we’ve been trying for years now to use the grasslands around us to no avail. We plant our crops, let loose our livestock and guard animals, build our farmhouses, and the same thing happens over and over: those damn herds of bison and antelope stampede, crushing everything while the ferrets and badgers and other vermin eat us and our belongings up. We’re at our wits’ end here.
All the gold we can spare, plus a couple dozen acres would be yours, if you just find the source of these things and snuff them out. We think they’re deeper in the prairies, and our patrons can’t keep losing good workers out there and getting back nothing but broken people. Somewhere out there, we see big ol’ herds, great beasts with horns so tall they seem to touch the moon, and we hear the cries of giant vermin, snuffling for blood. They’re just multiplying, growing bigger and bigger out there. 
Maybe you can figure out what about this land is so damn precious that they won’t let us settle in peace.

Lovely Fields of Green is a short horror incursion for Trophy Dark, set in grasslands that are ripe for the taking, as soon as they are cleansed of the creatures that inhabit them. A group of treasure-hunters is looking to claim the bounty that the nearby towns have set as a reward for successfully making this land safe to use. Will you be able to figure out where they're coming from without letting the prairie swallow you?

This incursion is for 2-5 treasure hunters and one GM.

This incursion does not contain the rules of Trophy Dark which are required to play.
